It’s been a long time since my last post! Winter is supposed to be a quiet time for photographers, but since three delicious weeks in Thailand with my family in June I have been chasing my tail to catch up on all of my pre-holiday sessions, complete those I’ve taken since arriving back home, plus work on my list of wedding albums from last season. Oh, and then there’s that little thing of looking after Poppy and Gus in amongst it all. There are days when it all gets too much, but then I remind myself of how lucky I am that I love everything that I do, and that the crazy juggle is worth every second.
This session was taken just before Christmas last year and I’ve been wanting to post it ever since. It was one of my favourites from that summer, made even more special by the fact that I photographed Lisa & Mark’s wedding a few years back, and Logan when she was just walking (it was so nice to see her running around on the sand!). It also reminds me of the fun times Tony and I had with Poppy and Gus on the beach in Thailand. It was our first family holiday away together and the first time they’d really enjoyed the sand and water (lucky because there wasn’t much to do otherwise!). With the weather starting to improve recently it also has me looking forward to getting back to some sunny outdoor sessions again soon!
